In Just Two Weeks, Garena Permanently Bans 1.6 Million Cheaters from Free Fire!

The desire to be the best player in online games sometimes drives some people to cheat. This is the source of the emergence of cheaters who seem to have never been absent from the many competitive games on the market. Whatever the reason, the existence of cheaters will never be tolerated and it is always a priority for the development team to overcome them. In this regard, Garena is also quite firm and is still very active in eradicating cheaters from the popular Battle Royale game Free Fire.

The proof can be seen from the latest post they uploaded some time ago, where Garena has given a permanent ban to 1,683,261 cheaters. Based on available data, about 53% of cheaters who get banned are from player reports. There are also around 113,005 players who have been punished in the form of demotion to Bronze I for playing with cheaters. This number increased to 3 times compared to their previous report.

The percentage of cheaters is divided into 42% for Auto-Aim (Headshot) cheats, 35% for Teleport cheats, 10% for Antenna Cheats, 9% Wallhacks, and 4% for other types of cheats. As usual, the Auto-Aim cheat is the most used. It’s not surprising, because with this cheat players can target enemies from a distance and move swiftly without any difficulty. The Teleport cheat is also widely used because players can position themselves more freely throughout the map.

The developer did not forget to invite players to continue reporting on cheaters who were caught acting in Free Fire. Of course there is also a firm warning not to use third-party software to cheat or exploit bugs. By following all the existing rules, the playing experience is guaranteed to be more comfortable and free from cheating.
