Just 3 Days, the First Teaser of Chainsaw Man Anime Has Been Viewed 13 Million Times!

Anime and manga lovers certainly already know very well that Chainsaw Man is one of the good manga and has been a huge success even without an anime adaptation. On the other hand, the Chainsaw Man anime adaptation is also highly anticipated. Moreover, the Chainsaw Man anime will be made by a studio that has been excited lately because it has made anime like Jujutsu Kaisen or Attack on Titan Final Season, namely MAPPA.

On June 27 yesterday, the Chainsaw Man anime has officially released its first teaser showing how good the quality of graphics and animations offered by studio MAPPA is. The teaser also shows various main characters such as Denji, Power, Makima and many others.

After more than 3 days of airing, it looks like the anime is really going to cause a lot of hype. As you can see above, the Chainsaw Man teaser has been viewed 13 million times. Through Twitter, the trailer has been watched about 7.5 million times, while on YouTube it has been watched about 5.5 million times. This is of course fantastic, considering it’s a short teaser and doesn’t show as detailed scenes as voice actors.

For those of you who are still strangers, the Chainsaw Man anime tells of a young man named Denji who lives in the midst of poverty and becomes a Devil Hunter in order to pay off his father’s debt by giving the demon corpses he hunted to the Yakuza. His life changed forever when his body merged with the corpse of his pet dog, Pochita. He then lives in a big city and becomes part of the Demon Hunter organization.

When will the anime air?

Unfortunately, the first teaser did not announce the broadcast schedule of the Chainsaw Man anime. If you look at the various projects that studio MAPPA is working on at once, it looks like the anime won’t be airing in the near future. We are waiting for the official announcement.
