Just Like DOTA, League of Legends Adaptation Movie Will Also Be Airing on Netflix!

Netflix seems to never be separated from the new rush to offer a variety of quality shows. Although not directly involved in some of the original projects, they sometimes remain the exclusive service provider for watching the films. Recent examples such as Arcane, the animated film adaptation of the MOBA game League of Legends from Riot Games, will reportedly be airing on Netflix next fall.

This announcement is also accompanied by the release of short trailer which shows a visual snippet from the film, which we have to admit looks very charming and has a very unique style. Dominique Bazay as head of Original Animation at Netflix promises that this animated film will offer a spectacular spectacle that will astonish the audience. Shauna Spenley, who represents Riot Games, said that Arcane was made as a “love letter” to fans of the game, who hoped for a cinematic experience to get to know more about the world setting and champions in League of Legends. Seeing how Netflix is a very popular movie streaming service brand and has premium quality, they feel that Netflix is a suitable partner to bring Arcane to many pairs of eyes around the world.

Regarding the film series itself, Arcane is set in a utopian area called Piltover, where the story focuses on the iconic champion League and the power that can poison them. This animated film was developed directly by Riot Games in collaboration with Fortiche Productions, as well as being Riot’s first debut in the realm of television series.

So like the information above, Arcane is planned to be aired exclusively on Netflix in the fall of this year.
