LifeAfter's New Rival? NetEase Officially Announces 'Lost Light' Survival Shooter Game

Of the many game companies from China that are still active today, NetEase Games is arguably the one that shows the most consistent development. In addition to starting to penetrate the realm of consoles by opening new studio branches, they also continue to develop various cool mobile games from time to time. Today, NetEase Games happened to bring a surprise with the announcement of the new game Lost Light.

This game is a survival shooter with a competitive gameplay focus. Following the official announcement some time ago, they have opened a pre-registration stage that you can access HERE.

There isn’t much information shared other than a brief description of the game. However, NetEase has released the first trailer, which you can see below.

At first glance, Lost Light looks quite similar to another survival game from NetEase, namely LifeAfter. Both of these games carry shooter gameplay with a post-apocalypse world setting and survival elements. Maybe this game will indirectly become LifeAfter’s new competitor.

But on the other hand NetEase can get the attention of LifeAfter fans more easily to be able to play this game too. In essence, the presence of this game has the opportunity to bring harmonization between the two community camps. It will also be interesting to see that the two games can collaborate with each other through some kind of event in the future.

When is the Game Released?

Because it is still in the development stage, unfortunately, Lost Light has not yet received a release confirmation. However, NetEase has planned to open the CBT stage on January 28 for Australia and New Zealand. As for the platform, the game was developed specifically for mobile (Android and iOS).
