Demo Pulled from Steam, Dev. Parakacuk Wants to Ensure Game Quality Matches Expectations
This year the Indie game industry in Indonesia has developed into a more advanced direction with many promising local game releases. Like Parakacuk, for example, where this game is not afraid to raise the theme of juvenile violence which could invite controversy. It’s just that despite the interesting premise, unfortunately the impression we get after playing the demo version is very far from expectations.
Gamecom Team as the developer has collected a lot of feedback from fans who have tried the free demo on Steam, and now they have also pulled the demo from the platform. Through the latest posts on their social media accounts, Gamecom Team shares information about the demands for PC specifications that have been optimized for the final version later.
In the same post, Gamecom Team also wants to ensure that the quality of the game can meet expectations when it is released later. Of course, we really hope for that, because the impression we got from yesterday’s demo version was far from what we expected. There are so many shortcomings that need to be fixed, ranging from less than optimal optimization, a gameplay system that is too simple and rigid, English dubbing with text-to-speech, and much more.
We don’t know if they have enough time to fix the game before its release. So there is always the possibility that the release will be delayed, which of course will not be a problem for fans as long as the quality it offers is as expected.
When is the Game Released?
Parakacuk itself is scheduled to be released on October 29 next. For the time being, the game has just been confirmed to be only released for the PC platform via Steam.
