Melty Blood: Type Lumina Announced, Tsukihime's Newest Spin-Off Fighting Game
Besides being ready to pamper fans with the presence of a remake of the classic visual novel game Tsukihime, Type-Moon has also collaborated with Project Lumina and developer French-Bread for the development of the latest spin-off game for the series. Announced with the title Melty Blood: Type Lumina, this is a 2D fighting game that takes place in the world of Tsukihime.
This game allows players to rely on the skills of the character Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon in real combat. The involvement of French-Bread as a developer also gives a sense of relief, because they are quite experienced developers and have produced many cool fighting games from the Melty Blood series to Under Night.
While retaining many of the typical elements of the classic Melty Blood series, this new game also brings a variety of new enhancements to ensure a suitable gaming experience on modern platforms, such as smoother visual support and an overhauled fighting game system.
The roster in Melty Blood: Type Lumina will feature more than 10 playable characters, each of which has a very unique and different play style. Besides being able to enjoy the storyline in Story mode, players are also given access to play Time Attack and Survival modes, each of which offers exciting challenges and is ready to test playing skills.
When is the Game Released?
If you are curious about the game, Melty Blood: Type Lumina will be released in 2021 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The good news is that this game will be released globally with Japanese audio support and English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean subtitles.
