Mineski Defeats LGD Gaming And Successfully Wins Dota 2 Asia Championship 2018

The team from Southeast Asia, namely Mineski, finally managed to win the Dota 2 Asia Championship 2018 after in today’s final, defeating a team from China, namely LGD Gaming with a score of 3:2. Mineski performed very well throughout the 2018 DAC tournament.

In the group stage, Mineski won 6 matches out of a total of 7 matches, so Mineski took the runner up position in Group B. Mineski’s only defeat was against Virtus.Pro.

Armed with the runner up in Group B, Mineski advanced to the playoffs with a position in the Upper Bracket. Throughout the Playoffs, Mineski was always in the Upper Bracket by defeating Optic Gaming, and Vici Gaming.

Meanwhile, several other strong winning teams, such as Virtus.Pro, Evil Geninuses and Team Liquid, had to be thrown into the lower bracket.

In the Upper Bracket Finals, Mineski met with Team LGD Gaming, and managed to win the match with a score of 2:0 so that they immediately advanced to the Grand Final round. Meanwhile, LGD Gaming was thrown into the lower bracket final by facing the Virtus.Pro team which was finally won by LGD Gaming with a score of 2:1

Thus, for the second time, Mineski will meet LGD gaming in the final round of the 2018 DAC Grand Final.

The match in the Grandfinals was very tight, where until match 4, both teams shared the same strong score, namely 2:2.

The last match will determine who will be the champion of this 2018 DAC and is entitled to a prize of 370,000 USD or about 5 billion rupiah.

Through a quite exciting match, Mineski finally closed the 5th match with a victory over LGD Gaming, so that Mineski managed to become the champion of the 2018 Dota 2 Asia Championship tournament.
