Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Season 2 Confirmed to Air in July 2021
Kyoto Animation’s position as one of the best anime production houses in Japan is undeniable. Even though it was hit by a big fire tragedy that claimed many lives and valuable assets, this studio proved that they were able to rise from that adversity. Following the screening of the film Violet Evergarden which was a huge success last year, Kyoto Animation has prepared a season two project for the anime Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid.
As if not wanting to make fans wait a long time, the studio finally officially announced the release schedule for the second season. The announcement was made via his latest Twitter post. They confirmed that season two of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid will begin airing in July 2021 for the Japanese region. There is currently no certainty regarding the global broadcast schedule. However, Crunchyroll had previously shown the first season of the anime alongside the Japanese version.

Since the broadcast of its first season in 2017, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid has immediately been included in the list of the most popular anime throughout the decade. This slice of life series with a mix of comedy and fantasy elements ends as a very entertaining spectacle. The second season will present a story that is no less entertaining, as well as the presence of a new key character named Ilulu.
For those of you who haven’t had the chance to follow the series, the first season of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid has been aired and comes in a 12-episode format. While the continuation of the second season, as we said above, will only air in July 2021.
