Moonton Announces M2 World Championship Held January 2021
Moonton has finally officially announced the Mobile Legends World Championship (M2) will be held in January 2021 in Singapore. The implementation of the biggest Mobile Legends event was indeed forced to be slightly delayed due to the impact of COVID-19. This confirmation is definitely refreshing news for organizations, teams, players and the Mobile Legends (ML) community.
This highest level Mobile Legends tournament will be held offline, but closed and cannot be attended directly by the audience. Moonton hopes that the M2 event can attract the interest of esports fans who are spread all over the world to watch it online.
The Mobile Legends scene has indeed grown very rapidly in the last year. The M2 event is expected to reach 400 million esports fans through various broadcast channels. Moonton also claims data 9.77 billion the match has been played and 9.8 million the player has reached the Mythic level.

M2 is organized by Moonton in collaboration with Singapore’s Cybersports and Online Gaming Association (SCOGA) which is supported by the Singapore Tourism Board.
Mobile Legends M2 will be one of the first regional offline esports events to be held in Southeast Asia, attended by a number of top esports organizations from around the world. The teams are planned to compete at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore, to become the number one team and compete for prizes worth USD300,000 or equivalent to IDR 4.5 billion.
