Nanyang Championships To Be Held On A Cruise Ship

On 13-17 October onboard the Sapphire Princess Cruise. The winner of The International 2016 tournament, Wings Gaming and the Newbee team, were confirmed to receive a direct invitation to the tournament which provided a prizepool of $45,000 or around 585 million rupiah.

A total of four teams will compete aboard the Sapphire Princess Cruise, currently there are two more spots left. A total of 16 teams from China will compete in the group stage and the best 6 teams will advance to the next round in the playoffs.

Team Invictus Gaming.Vitality and EHOME have been allocated a special place to be directly in the playoffs, a total of 8 teams competing in the playoffs will play matches with a best-of-three single elimination bracket system. The top two teams will get tickets to cruise on a yacht with Wings Gaming and the Newbee team.

1st place: 150,000 (~$22,483)
2nd place: 80,000 (~$11,990)
3rd place: 50,000 (~$7,494)
4th place: 20,000 (~$2,997)
