New Game The Idolmaster SideM: Growing Stars Announced For Mobile!

Starting from an experimental simulation game that was initially only available on the Arcade and Xbox 360 platforms, who would have thought that The Idolmaster would develop into a very large and worldwide media franchise as it is today. Trying to pamper fans with the release of the new game The Idolmaster: Starlit Season which looks fantastic, recently Bandai Namco brought another surprise with another game announcement.

Titled The Idolmaster SideM: Growing Stars, this game was developed specifically for the mobile platform and will likely continue to carry the simulation and rhythm genres. Apart from the release of a teaser trailer showing the game’s logo, Bandai has yet to share much new information including the release schedule.

Even so, The Idolmaster SideM itself is a sub-series of the The Idolmaster franchise that focuses on male idol groups. So it is certain that this game will put its star focus on these male idols. However, it is not impossible that the game will also feature collaborations with female idols, for example in the latest rhythm game Project Sekai: Colorful Stage feat. Hatsune Miku.

When is the Game Released?

As above, The Idolmaster SideM: Growing Stars is currently still in development for mobile (Android and iOS). There is no definite release schedule yet, but you can monitor the latest updates on the game’s official website HERE.
