Pokemon Go Update August 9 Version 1.3.0/0.33.0 Reactivating Pokemon Nearby Feature

Pokemon Go will update again on August 9 or August 8 in the US. For IOS the latest update is version 1.3.0 and for Android is version 0.33.0

These are the updates that have been made:

– Added a dialogue to remind Trainers that they should not play while traveling above a certain speed. Trainers must confirm they are not driving in order to continue playing: Speed warnings and must state not driving.
– Made improvements to the accuracy of a curveball throw: Improved accuracy of throwing curve balls.
– Fixed a bug that prevented “Nice,” “Great,” and “Excellent” Poké Ball throws from awarding the appropriate experience bonuses: Fixed the ball throw bug and will get experience bonuses according to the throw, Nice, Great or Excellent.
– Fixed achievements showing incorrect Medal icons: Improved medal gains.
– Enabled the ability for Trainers to change their nickname one time, so please choose your new nickname wisely: Can change nickname 1 time.
– Resolved issues with the battery saver mode and re-enabled this feature: Repair and reactivation of battery saving features.
– Added visuals of Team leaders – Candela, Blanche and Spark: Added Team Leader visuals.
– We’re currently testing a variation of the “Nearby Pokémon” feature with a subset of users. During this period you may see some variation in the nearby Pokémon UI: The Pokemon Nearby feature is re-enabled.
– Minor text fixes
