PS2 Game Remake 'SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom' Confirmed For Android and iOS!
Although game adaptations of famous cartoon films do not always invite a positive reception, especially from critics. But the memories left behind from those games are the most powerful. One example of a game that left that impression is SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom. This 3D platformer game from the PlayStation 2 console era happened to have gotten a remake version that attracted the attention of fans and returned to success.
In order to reach more new players, developer Purple Lamp Studios announced that SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated will also be released on mobile. In collaboration with publisher HandyGames, they plan to release this game on the mobile platform on January 21. This announcement is also accompanied by a gameplay trailer for the mobile version which you can see below.
This mobile version offers gameplay to the same graphic quality. It’s just that there is an overhaul of the UI display and controls that have been adapted to touchscreen controls. HandyGames also confirmed that the game will be released in full at a price of USD 8.99 or around IDR 127 thousand. That means you don’t have to worry about ads or additional microtransactions.
