Team VGJ.Thunder Becomes the Representative of the China Region at GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Pro Circuit Minor
VGJ.Thunder, who recently performed phenomenally, finally won the GESC Indonesia Minor, China Qualifier. After defeating two other strong Chinese teams, namely Newbee and LGD Gaming. Thus, VGJ.Thunder will be present in Indonesia in March.
VGJ.Thunder appeared very excellent, when in the Semifinals they beat the Newbee team with a score of 2:0.
In the other semifinal, LGD Gaming defeated another strong team, namely Vici Gaming, also with a score of 2:0 , so that LGD Gaming finally met VGJ.Thunder in the Upper Bracket Final.
In this meeting, VGJ.THunder defeated LGD Gaming with a fairly solid score, namely 2:0 so that they were entitled to advance to the Grand Final of GESC Indonesia Minor, China Qualifier.
After losing in the Upper Bracket Final, LGD gaming dropped to the lower bracket and against the Newbee team which in the previous match defeated Vici Gaming with a score of 2:1
Even though they just won ESL One Genting 2018, the Newbee team didn’t manage to win the match against LGD Gaming, so they fell out of the China Qualifier.
Thus, LGD Gaming again met with VGJ.Thunder in the last round, namely the Grand Final round.
In this match using the BO5 system, finally VGJ.Thunder showed their might and defeated LGD Gaming again with a score of 3:1. So it is VGJ.Thunder who will represent the Chinese region to compete in the GESC Indonesia Dota 2 Pro Circuit Minor.
