After confirming the M2 title in January 2021, Moonton continued to provide information on when the tournament will start through its teaser video.
The number of participating teams was reduced, last year there were 16 teams and now only 12 teams are participating in the M2 event. For representatives of Indonesia as the best region to include two representatives, RRQ HOSHI and AlterEgo (Indonesia). However, it is possible that Moonton will surprise his fans. It is possible that M2 will bring in four additional teams to fill the 16-team tournament slot.
