Tournament Schedule and Charts For The International 7 Playoff Phase Announced

After the group phase has lasted for 4 days, now the main event will start soon and the seeding and the next match chart have been made by the Valve team based on the applicable regulations.

According to the rules, the team that wins the group has the right to choose who the next opponent will be in the 3rd or 4th position in the playoff phase later. The winner of group A, Team Liquid, decided to meet Invictus Gaming, while the winner of group B, namely LGD Forever Young, decided to meet TnC first.

Thus, in group A the LGD team will meet Virtus.Pro and for group B Newbee will meet Evil Geniuses. EG against Newbee in the upper bracket is like repeating what happened at The International 6. They met again for the first time where at that time the EG team managed to win 2-0 and made the Newbee team have to go down to the lower bracket and then be eliminated and have to settle for position 9 -12.

For the upper bracket the match will use the Best of Three system while for the lower bracket it will use the Best of One system. So the team in the lower bracket must compete seriously from the first to avoid being eliminated from The International 7.
