Ubisoft Releases Assassins Creed: Origins Gameplay Trailer
At E3 2017 yesterday, Ubisoft officially announced Assassin’s Creed Origins, but recently Ubisoft and Microsoft have shown a gameplay snippet of the game being played on the Xbox One X console.
The Assassin’s Creed Origins gameplay video is about 20 minutes long which was uploaded by a YouTube account called GAME. You can see the gameplay comes with 4K resolution, and without any detailed information in it.
Reportedly, this game uses a new AI combat system, and there will also be a mini-map feature similar to the compass on the Elder Scroll. You will no longer find the sprint button, because the running speed will depend on the analog stick. Some features that will return such as Eagle Vision which can be done with an eagle named Senu, but no longer show the location of the enemy but only highlight certain objects. Puzzle elements will also return, but are more challenging and will keep the player active using a few buttons.
We have summarized some of the points they have explained, here is our brief summary:
- An eagle named Senu will mark your enemy, replacing the Eagle Vision function that was in the previous Assassin’s Creed.
- Just like RPG games, the enemies in this game have a marked level above your enemy’s head. This level marks the difficulty level of your enemy. The higher the level of the enemy, the more difficult the challenges you have to face. High-level enemies can be defeated with stealth tactics which will certainly be more difficult than before. No more one-hit kills because your enemies will have different levels of difficulty.
- All environments in this game “live” like human life in general.
- You can interact with some of the available fields, for example making your arrows fire arrows when you bring your arrows closer to the torch.
- Existing animals have habits, such as eating, drinking, and sleeping.
- Gear and weapons have rarity, this rarity is very important in this game. The rarer the more attributes the existing weapon or gear has.
- Each weapon has its own class, each class has a unique ability.
- There is an Adrenaline system that allows Bayek to issue special attacks. Adrenaline is filled during battle, this ability depends on the weapon you have, each weapon has a different Adrenaline charge time.
- There are several camps where you can find some gear and materials for crafting your new weapon.
- The skill tree is divided into three categories: Master Warrior, Master Hunter, and Master Seer. Master Warrior is an ability that focuses on ordinary army-style battles with brutal physical attacks. Master Seer is an ability that has to do with animal manipulation, NPCs, and the environment. While Master Hunter is an ability that focuses on stealth and ranged attacks like Assassin. Players can dedicate skills depending on their respective playing styles.
- There are many types of weapons 8 melee, 4 types of bows and arrows, and others. There are several attributes, levels, properties, and others in each type.
- Ubisoft makes anything in the world Assassin’s Creed Origins can be climbed.
- There are many mounts, ranging from horses, camels, and horse-drawn carriages. You can get various kinds of mounts by buying them.
- Only horses can “attack” while camels cannot.
- Folder Assassin’s Creed Origins not a region like the previous series, but a country of Egypt.
- Some of the villages there are important points for taking quests, or just buying and selling weapons and armor.
- Ubisoft tries to combine melee, ranged, and stealth combat systems, but players can choose one of them to be their own playing style.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is scheduled to launch soon for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27, 2017.
