Update V1.4 Genshin Impact Will Be Released on March 17th

Global interactive entertainment developer and publisher, miHoYo, today confirmed that they will be releasing updates Genshin Impact v1.4 “Windblume Invitation” on March 17, 2021 in platform PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 compatible versions.

All players who had reached the Adventure Rank Lv. 20 and above, and have completed quest “Song of Dragons and Freedom,” is invited to join the residents of Mondstadt in the annual celebration themed on freedom and love. The celebration is also rightly held in the midst of the warm spring breeze, when thousands dandelion seeds flying around.

It is thought that the Windblume Festival was originally organized as an event to commemorate the liberation of Mondstadt 2,600 years ago. However, for its current residents, the Windblume Festival has become a moment for people to express love and play various types of outdoor games.

The Knights of Favonius and the Adventurers’ Guild will organize a series of mini-game and challenges that players can enjoy, both individually and with friends, and lots of prizes to be offered.

The prize includes two items exclusive Windblume Festival Commemorative Balloon and Windsong Lyre, as well as a new 4★ weapon – Windblume Ode. In addition, there is a new genre quest which has several different endings. Travelers have the opportunity to spend time with Barbara, Noelle, Bennett, and Chongyun to create many memories together.

In v1.4, more details about the Abyss Order and the fate of the separated Traveler siblings will be revealed. Travelers who continue their investigations with “Bough Keeper” Dainsleif will come face to face with the formidable Abyss Herald, as well as learn some surprising secrets about the world’s first Ruin Guard.

Two months after his first appearance in Dragonspine, “Thorny Benevolence” Rosaria will join in games as the newest 4 Playable Character. Rosaria uses a Polearm type weapon and has the power of Cryo. He can dart behind enemies quickly to launch his Elemental Burst attack, launching a powerful slash and dealing massive Cryo DMG, followed by continuous Cryo DMG Area attacks against nearby enemies.

To improve the gaming experience, new functions and optimizations will also be introduced to players. In v1.4, players can store 5 Condensed Resin at once in the Bag at a time. In addition, players can choose to lower their World Level to suit their needs, whether playing in Solo or Co-Op Mode.

Genshin Impact is an ARPG open world free that brings players into the visually stunning world of Teyvat. Players take on the role of a mysterious Traveler, embark on a journey to find his missing brother, and uncover Teyvat’s secrets along his journey.

Players can explore Mondstadt and Liyue Harbor, two of the seven major cities of Teyvat. Each city has a unique culture and story, a vast landscape filled with all kinds of creatures, monsters, mysteries and treasures. There will be more cities, stories, characters and events season to be released.
