Virtus.pro Tops the Boston Major European Qualifiers


The first round of the Boston Major European Qualifiers has ended, the Dota 2 team from Russia, Virtus.pro (VP) is firmly at the top of the group stage with a score of 8-1. Other teams that made it through to advance to the playoffs were Team Secret, Team Liquid and Ad Finem.

Virtus.pro’s defeat against Ad Finem, No’s VP player[o]ne became a star in the round robin which lasted for 2 days with a KDA rating of 10.88. Meanwhile, Team Secret’s perfect run on the first day, stalled on the second day because they lost to Virtus Pro and Alliance until their position was under VP with a score of 7-2.

Ad Finem, who was underdog in the regional qualifiers, was able to surprise his more experienced opponents by defeating Alliance, Na’Vi and Vega Squadron. In the first round of the playoffs Virtus.pro will meet Team Liquid while
Ad Finem will face Team Secret.
