Former Wings Gaming Player Gets Life Ban From ACE
According to Li Peng’s “iceice” post on Weibo and a few Tweets from the Dota2 Community, the five Wings Gaming players received lifetime bans from the ACE Organization, meaning no team from China joined or trained with the five TI6 winners.
Jack “KBBQ” Chen said that if the ACE organization regulates Dota in China as they do now, it is possible that other teams besides Wings Gaming will get the same treatment.
The ban from ACE has resulted in former Wings Gaming players (which have now changed their name to Team Random) unable to play in tournaments in China, but this prohibition does not include a ban for events outside those managed by ACE, such as Valve, and others.
But unfortunately the post from iceice does not provide further details about the ban
