Welcoming Inazuma War Country, Here's the Summary of Update 2.0 Genshin Impact!

The excitement brought by Update 1.6 Genshin Impact is not over yet, but Mihoyo is ready to increase the enthusiasm of fans in welcoming the biggest update of the game that will bring the Inazuma region. Through a livestream that was just held a while ago, they finally shared a myriad of new details from Update 2.0 – The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia.

In Update 2.0, the main content that immediately attracts attention is the presence of the third region in Genshin Impact, namely Inazuma. This is the land of Archon Electro Baal (Raiden Shogun), which is located quite far from Mondstadt and Liyue and carries Japanese culture. As might be expected, this new region will feature tons of content ranging from a vast new open-world map to explore, the power of Vision Electro that Travelers can use, Archon Quest missions and new characters, and much, much more.

In addition, players will also meet several exclusive Inazuma characters, three of which will be available in the event banner, namely Kamisato Ayaka and Yoimiya (5-Star) and Sayu (4-Star). There are also additional five other characters on display such as Yae Miko, Tohma, Sengonomiya Kokomi, Sara, and of course the Raiden Shogun, which turns out to be filled by Saashiro Miyuki as the voice actor.

A series of new weapons that have Inazuma’s exclusive style will also be available, some of which you can craft yourself or get from the Wish Event, as well as new artifact sets that will be available in several of Inazuma’s new domains. Responding to feedback from players regarding weapon banners that are unfair or too random, Mihoyo has also prepared a new system so that players can get the weapon they want if the previous 5-Star wish fails. So you could say this is a new pity system that they implemented specifically for weapon banners.

Not to be missed, Update 2.0 will bring lots of new events with a series of attractive prizes. The Thunder Sojourn, which is the main event, even gives players the opportunity to get Beidou (4-Star) characters for free, including abundant Primogem. The Serenitea Pot gameplay system has received a new overhaul through the implementation of the Gardening feature, where players can collect plant seeds and grow them in their own Serenite Pot world.

Fortunately, players don’t have to wait long until they can adventure in this new country, because Update 2.0 Genshin Impact is targeted for release on July 21, aka two weeks from now!
