World Flipper Game from Cygames to be Published Globally by Kakao Games
Multi-platform publisher Kakao Games has secured the rights to publish World Flipper, a mobile game from Cygames.
World Flipper is an action mobile game with “pinball”-like gameplay and pixel-style 2D graphics that make it feel retro but with a modern design. This game mixes its action gameplay with collectibles, evolutions and enchantment. Each character in the game belongs to one of six elements, and each element activates a special skill. In addition to the main story, World Flipper also has side-story events and boss battles where three players can play simultaneously.
Through this agreement, Kakao Games has the right to publish World Flipper in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and South Korea. This is the second collaboration between the two companies after the success of ‘Princess Connect! Re:Dive’ in Korean. This agreement will bring the collaboration of the two companies to the global market. Kakao Games will immediately begin preparations for the game, drawing lessons from previous game publishing experiences in these regions, to make World Flipper available globally in 2021.
