A Pokemon Go player dies after being shot and killed

Around midnight on October 18th, Cayla Campos the 21 year old is playing Pokemon GO with his girlfriend near his apartment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When you’re cool to play Pokemon Go, not far from them an armed robbery occurred. The robbers tried to snatch the car from another driver. Seeing the incident, Campos and his girlfriend tried to leave the scene, but the suspects opened fire on their vehicle which prevented them from leaving the scene. Campos was hit in the back of the head by the perpetrators. He later died of his injuries at a nearby hospital.

Police have yet to identify the suspect involved in the shooting and urge anyone with any information to contact the police. Albuquerque police are trying to find a silver four-door sedan and a red car that may be a Ford Mustang in connection with the robbery and shooting.

The criminal incident experienced by Pokemon Go players is not the only time. Previously there was a case where there was a theft using bait with PokeStop to ambush and rob their victims. Another example, someone playing Pokemon GO in the middle of the night and getting robbed at gunpoint, and much more.
