Earlier this year, U.S. Senator from Vermont and Democratic presidential nominee Bernie Sanders created a Twitch account. Following in the footsteps of Sanders, US President, Doland Trump, recently created his own Twitch account.
Donald Trump’s Twitch channel is known to be broadcasting his rallies, which he has regularly held during his tenure as President. With this Twitch channel created, Trump is likely to increase the number of such rallies on his Twitch channel. Including the meeting that will be held on October 17, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. In addition, this channel is also used as part of his campaign for the 2021 presidential election.
Trump himself hasn’t said anything about his Twicth channel. His most recent tweet was about ongoing trade talks with China, which also has ties to the video game industry. Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony have joined forces to press the Trump administration to hold off on technology tariffs it plans to impose on China, which could potentially raise the cost of video game consoles in the United States.
