BnTeT, Pro Player CS:GO and Former 100 Thieves Player Officially Become EXTREMUM Roster
News of team transfers and roster announcements don’t seem to be over yet for Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) esports branch. Even though the 2021 competition season has started, there are still teams that are improving their CS:GO roster, some are changing some of the players, some are rebuilding their CS:GO team. One of the teams that has rebuilt their roster and has just announced their line-up is the EXTREMUM team.
This Russia-based organization has just announced their new CS:GO roster line up. As posted on the EXTREMUM Twitter page, the team line-up is a collection of former 100 Thieves players. They are Aaron “AZR” Ward, Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad, Jay “Liaz” Tregillgas and Sean “Freedom” Kaiwai. They have all previously joined and played together in the CS:GO 100 Thieves roster. In addition to recruiting former 100 Thieves players, EXTREMUM also recruited former 100 Thieves coaches, namely Alexander “cassad” Trifunović.

But what is special is one last name, to complete the four former 100 Thieves players, EXTREMUM recruited BnTeT. BnTeT became the last piece of the CS:GO EXTREMUM team that recruited him from the Gen.G team, where BnTeT played before.
For CS:GO observers in Indonesia, surely this last name is familiar, right? Yoi, Hansel Ferdinand alias BnTeT is one of the maestro of CS:GO in Indonesia and is predicted to be one of the best in Asia.
The news of BnTeT’s move from Gen.G itself has actually been around since mid-January. In addition, this rumor is also reinforced by the decision of the Gen.G team to provide transfer opportunities to their CS:GO roster.
Of course, this is a good opportunity for BnTeT to experience competition in the European CS:GO scene. Considering that Europe is still a region with many great and strong teams besides North America and South America, besides that, the European esports scene is also still very competitive with many tournaments being held there.

BnTeT’s own performance in the previous team, namely Gen.G also not so bad, so it makes sense for EXTREMUM to make it the last keeper on their roster.
Besides being warmly welcomed by fans, InGameLeader EXTREMUM, Aaron “AZR” Ward, also welcomed BnTeT as his “new partner” in the EXTREMUM team. As quoted from AZR’s tweet/tweet, he said he was very happy to be playing with BnTeT after so long being opponents on different teams.
Very excited to work with Hansy @BnTeTCSGO after playing against him for a very long time. Wasn’t able to do it in past due to contracts but now its time . Also looking forward to working with @LETN1CSGO, he has already helped out the team a lot https://t.co/IV8E6yi8YE

Quoted from HLTV, in addition to competing in Europe, EXTREMUM also has plans to participate in several Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournaments in North America to maintain the points they have earned and smoothen their steps to be able to compete in the PGL Major Stockholm event.
It will be interesting to see how EXTREMUM performs in the future, considering their current roster is a roster full of potential. Do you think this roster can compete with big European names like Astralis, Natus Vincere and Vitality? We look forward to his debut later!
