Bungie's New IP Launches in 2025!
For those of you who are really actively following the development of the game industry, you know about the close relationship between Microsoft and Bungie. In the past, Microsoft and Bungie seemed unlikely to be going their separate ways. The two of them had worked together to develop one of the giant franchises, namely Halo.
It is known that before 343 industries took over, Bungie was the hand that made Halo. In Bungie’s hands, Halo managed to reach the pinnacle of its success which made the Xbox name increasingly recognized as a gaming platform as well as redefining the sensation of playing FPS using a controller.

But unfortunately, the success they achieved did not make them able to continue working together. Both Microsoft and Bungie, both have now separated from each other. Previously, Microsoft is also reportedly interested in buying Bungie again.
Since parting ways with Microsoft in 2019, many fans have hoped that Bungie will bring something new than before. However, it seems that the wishes of fans regarding new IPs other than Destiny and Halo are still long enough to come true.
Bungie’s new IP 2025
Which Bungie has recently confirmed that 2025 is their target for launching a new IP. This is known through an interview with 4Gamer Japan – Jacob Benton as Bungie’s Design Director shared definite information regarding their new IP.
Benton confirmed that Bungie is still pretty confident that they will launch a new IP by 2025. In addition, Bungie is also busy developing other projects, including Destiny. Because it is still years away, Benton is still reluctant to provide further details regarding this new IP.
