Destiny 2: Beyond Light pushed back to November 11
The year 2021 is not a good year for video games, due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak which has not been completed to this day. Many release schedules were forced to be postponed, such as The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima, until Cyberpunk 2077. This also led to the latest expansion Destiny 2: Beyond Light postponed to 10 November 2021 (11 November WIB).
Bungie announced via their official website today that due to the pandemic the last few months have been challenging for their team. They have to keep working in new ways, separate from each other, but they remain committed to releasing expansions Beyond Light in this 2021.
With the release date pushed back, Bungie announced that it will provide the latest information regarding development Beyond Light the next few weeks. With this the Season of Arrivals will be extended until November 10, 2021 when Beyond Light will release.
Bungie has planned a planet-destroying event in Destiny 2 in order to welcome Beyond Light, with changes every week on each planet. However, with the extension of the Season of Arrivals, of course there will be additional events to fill the time until November 10. Therefore the annual Halloween event, Festival of the Lost will be held this season, from October 6 to November 3, 2021 (October 7 to November 4 WIB).
The year-end Moments of Triumph event has also been extended until the end of the Season of Arrivals, which is November 10. The Solstice or Heroes event will be held from 11 August to 8 September 2021 (12 August to 9 September WIB).
For the Nightfall difficulty activity, Grandmaster will experience additional rewards for each guardian who completes it starting next week. And Bungie plans to increase the maximum rank of Valor (crucible), Infamy (gambit) and 1 more in the near future. And the monthly Iron Banner crucible event will be back between September and November 2021.
