Fnatic's Dota 2 Team Makes Roster Changes By Retaining Only 2 Core Players

Now it’s the turn of the Malaysian team to make a roster change. After playing badly at The International 7 and having to be eliminated immediately after the group stage, now they have finished forming a new roster.

It is certain that with this very disappointing result, which is in last place with only 2 wins from 16 matches, there will certainly be a change in the roster in the Fnatic team. They only managed to get a win against the iG.Vitality team and the Infamous team during the group stage.

They decided to replace their 3 players and only keep 2 players namely Chong ‘Ohaiyo’ Xin Khoo and Djardel Jicko ‘DJ’ Ablesti. This means that the players who have to leave the Fnatic team and look for a new team are Lai Jay ‘Ahjit’ Son, Kim ‘Febby’ Yong-min, and Kim ‘QO’ Seon-yeop.

Then it turned out that the Fnatic team was interested in using the services of former Cloud9 players who had recently been disbanded by management. The 2 players are Jacky ‘EternalEnvy’ Mao and Johan ‘pieliedie’ ström who were chosen by the Fnatic team to strengthen this team even though the Cloud9 team didn’t actually play well during The International 7. Maybe the Fnatic team saw these two players as having potential and were suitable if merged with their 2 players.

For the last player there is Steve ‘Xcalibur’ Ye from the Crescendo team. Xcalibur who is a Swedish citizen will be the role mid player in the Fnatic team later.

Here’s the current roster of the Fnatic team:

– Chong ‘Ohaiyo’ Xin Khoo
– Djardel Jicko ‘DJ’ Ablesti
– Steve ‘Xcalibur’ Ye
– Johan ‘pieliedie’ ström
– Jacky “EternalEnvy’ Mao
