Former iBUYPOWER CS:GO Team Players Can Breathe a sigh of relief after their ban was revoked by ESL
A good news comes for the iBUYPOWER team and the Epsilon team because ESL will lift the ban on their team after they were previously hampered by a match-fixing case in a CS:GO tournament.
This can happen because ESL made changes to the match rules suggested by the Esports Integrity Coalition (ESIC) which has surveyed 7 thousand players regarding cheat issues, score fixing, and also the issue of doping use.
The new rules will take effect from 1 August 2017 and ESL agrees to withdraw all match-fixing cases that have occurred before 15 February 2015. By this decision means players from the team iBUYPOWER and Epsilon teams affected by match-fixing cases will now be able to play again in tournaments hosted by ESL.
However, ESL emphasizes that if players who were previously exposed to cases of cheating, match-fixing, and doping repeat their actions again, tougher sanctions will await them and they may even be banned for life from CS:GO games.
