Indie RPG Cris Tales Launches Demo for Console

Cris Tales is a game with a JRPG system in the 1990s era with artstyle and animation like 2-dimensional cartoons. Developed by 2 companies, Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK from Colombia, and will be published by Modus Games. Tells the adventures of the protagonists named Crisbell, Willhelm, Christopher and a frog named Matias in a kingdom called Saint Clarity.

If you miss games like Chrono Trigger, Valkyrie Profile, Final Fantasy VI, then you will feel the similarity of gameplay Cris Tales with the 3 old JRPGs already mentioned. Cris Tales has a turn-based strategy battle system, with a random battle encounter feature while exploring. End of June 2021 demo Cris Tales has been released for Steam and GOG. And in celebration of Colombia’s Independence Day on July 20, a demonstration Cris Tales launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

With Time Travel mechanism makes adventure and battle Cris Tales be unique. Enemies can be sent to the past and future so they can’t attack Crisbell and his friends. This time travel feature also affects the combination of attack settings, in order to provide maximum damage to each enemy.

In addition to tasting gameplay, demo Cris Tales also accompanied by the Colosseum mode, where you fight enemies for a total of 8 rounds in a row, where the last round will be against a Mini Boss. In the Colosseum you can’t refill HP between battles, so your battle strategy skills will be tested in this mode.
