NBA Basketball Star Jeremy Lin Becomes Team Captain Dota2 Vici Gaming J

NBA Brooklyn Nets basketball star Jeremy “Linsanity’ Lin was appointed captain of the DOTA 2 team Vici Gaming J. His position as captain here is not as an active player, but as an honorary captain of the Vici Gaming team.

Jeremy Lin with China Digital Culture Group (CDC) and Vici Gaming signed a cooperation agreement to become the sponsor of the team. With the inclusion of Jeremy Lin as the brand ambassador of Vici Gaming, the name of the team on the back is added with the letter J (Jeremy’s name) which is now Vici Gaming J.

“China Digital Group has seen the great potential of esports in recent years. We will integrate celebrity fame with the esports team to boost its brand in the market,” said Chris Hsu, CEO of CDC. Apart from Jeremy Lin, Boston Celtics NBA star Jonas Jerebko also entered the world of esports by buying Renegades club last August.
