Only 15% of Twitch Shroud Viewers Switch to Mixer, Why?

Not long ago we talked about some of Twitch’s top streamers who have finally made the switch to Mixer. Starting from Ninja to Shroud himself. Recently, Shroud, one of the most popular pro players and streamers on Twitch, announced his move to Mixer.

Shroud is known to have announced his move as well as an amazing video on October 24, 2019. It is known, Ninja as Shroud’s rival has already moved to Mixer.

The reason Shroud moved to Mixer was not just because of money, but he wanted a more comfortable ecosystem free from the toxic community on Twitch.

So happy to move to Mixer

Well, recently Shroud also revealed that he was very happy to live stream on Mixer. Yes, because you can be free from the toxic community that existed on Twitch before.

We all know it’s his fans on Twitch who force Shroud to play the games they want. This is what Shroud calls the Toxic community on Twitch.

If Shroud did not follow their wishes, some of them immediately left Shroud’s stream. Some even immediately unsubscribed Shroud’s Twitch channel.

Of course, the above made many streamers on Twitch disappointed, including Shroud himself as the number one streamer on Twitch at that time.

Only 15% of viewers join Mixer

But unfortunately, recent reports suggest that only a small number of Twitch Shroud viewers have accompanied him to Mixer. A data from StreamMetrics says that many viewers on Twitch refuse to switch to Mixer.

This is evident from the fact that in November Shroud had 230 thousand viewers, far from the audience on Twitch which reached 718 thousand viewers on Twitch last October.

It can be concluded that only 15% of Srhoud’s loyal viewers followed him to the Mixer. 53% of its viewers are those who have never watched Shroud before, this also says that Shroud viewers on Twitch don’t want to switch to Mixer.
