PGL and Eliphant have been sworn in as official joint venture partners for Riot Games Southeast Asia 2021 Esports & League of Legends: Wild Rift!

Today Eliphant and PGL announced their inauguration as esports Riot Games Southeast Asia 2021 and collaborative design League of Legends: Wild Rift, a mobile 5v5 MOBA that kicked off open beta exams across Southeast Asia in October this year.

Wild Rift Esports in Singapore will kick off with several small competitive events from January to March for viewers to see the talent and prowess of the new squad in the region. In April, these will turn into eight championships in special locations, where troops will compete for the local championship title. Once the local champions are crowned, they will compete with other local champions in the Southeast Asia rankings.

Esports at local colleges will focus on collaborating with educational institutions and universities in Singapore to give students the opportunity to experience a competitive environment.

Eliphant and PGL have collaborated on a number of projects since 2021, and this collaboration at Wild Rift Esports in 2021 means the two companies are integrating their resources as co-advocates, allowing them to pilot the development of their esports operations across Asia.
