Resident Evil 2 Remake, What We Know So Far

To welcome the 2021 Tokyo Game Show, we from Game Fever Indonesia have prepared something that makes you happy hype you will get taller.

After waiting for a long time for players, Capcom finally realized the remake for Resident Evil 2. The first trailer which was released at E3 2021 yesterday made players wonder about the condition of this game, fortunately Capcom itself provided an update on several things for this remake itself.

Also, to keep you players from being left behind with this remake version, we’ve gathered some information about what we already know: from a camera perspective, collector’s edition, and others.

For those of you who are wondering whether this game is similar to the series on PS1, this remake version of Resident Evil 2 really provides something new for players to play. Still with the same protagonist, you will later play Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield.

Regarding the perspective in playing, unlike in the PS1 series where you see a fixed angle, in this remake version you will be presented with third-person-over-the-shoulder. Similar to the Resident Evil 4 version but when moving it will feel more like Dead Space. No need to worry, because this is not something that Capcom prioritizes, because Capcom itself has prepared horror scenes that can scare players.

To story progression, still the same as the original series where you will solve puzzles so you can survive Raccoon City. But this time you are given more freedom to look around other places. You could say it’s similar to Resident Evil 7 but with a different camera perspective.

The demo at E3 provides an overview of the main locations in this game, namely Raccoon City Police Department. Still the same as the original series, maybe the difference is that in this remake version many places are made darker to make it look more scary when compared to before. And no more scene when you open the door, so don’t expect to be able to escape easily okay.

The thing that makes Resident Evil 2 on PS1 quite unique is that there is a different storyline between Leon and Claire. After completing certain stories, you will be presented with different scenarios and puzzles. For this remake version, Capcom has prepared two different stories with the main characters Leon and Claire. There is no further certainty as to whether their storylines will affect each other.

Resident Evil 2 Remake does not have a VR version and has been confirmed directly by the producer Tsuyoshi Kanda and Yoshiaki Hirabayashi due to the perspective chosen by Capcom for this game.

The new thing that might be similar to the Resident Evil Remastered version, when you want to be bitten by a zombie, you can push the zombie and stick a knife. The difference in this remake version is that your knife will still be in the zombie’s body, so you have to take it manually.

As the game progresses, you will get wooden boards which can be used to protect players from attacks by zombies and other monsters. Besides that there will be crafting gunpowder to make the bullets you need.

Characters such as Ada Wong, Sherry Birkin, William Birkin are also certain to return. is it possible easter eggs Brad Vickers down the RPD aisle still around?

Resident Evil 2 Remake will be released on January 25 and is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC consoles. Hopefully this game will make its way to the Nintendo Switch as well. Considering Nintendo Switch sales in Japan are very high. Getting impatient huh? Here are some screenshots from Gamescom 2021 yesterday.
