Rumor: Horizon Forbidden West Will Be Postponed to 2022?
Last year was the year that Sony’s Horizon Forbidden West was first announced. The sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn is planned to be released exclusively for PlayStation 5 in 2021. However, until now, the exact release date of this game has not been announced.
Talking about this, recently there have been rumors saying that Horizon Forbidden West will be postponed to 2022. This rumor itself comes from an industry insider who has previously leaked information regarding Horizon Zero Dawn to PC.
Horizon Forbidden West postponed to 2022?
He had previously leaked information regarding the PC port before it was actually announced. Leaker named Anton Logvinov is now back and confirmed that most likely the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn will be postponed to 2022 later.
Apart from that, until now there has been no information or confirmation from Sony itself regarding these rumors. But recently Jim Ryan as the boss of Sony himself has confirmed that the game will still be released in 2021 as well.

But unfortunately, he previously did not come with confirmation regarding the release date of Horizon Forbidden West. This rumor is even more convincing after it was discovered that Horizon Forbidden West did not participate in providing the latest information regarding the game at this week’s State of Play event.
However, there are also some games that were originally scheduled to be released in 2021 have been postponed to 2022. One of them is Forza Horizon 7 which has now been confirmed to be released next year. For now, Sony has confirmed that Horizon Forbidden West will be releasing this 2021 as well.
