Tencent Builds A City Dedicated To Esports
Online game developer Tencent is building a city entirely dedicated to eSports development, this city will be located in Wuhu in Eastern China, where Tencent has signed a special agreement with the local government.
According to the plan, this eSports City will contain, amusement parks, universities, creative parks, industrial parks for animation, and even a data center for Tencent itself.
and reportedly Wuhu is not the only city that Tencent will invest in. The company will also plan to build an amusement park in Chengdu based on the role playing game Honor of Kings, which has reached 50 million players in January this year.
