Tetsuya Nomura Will Not Join Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2
This year’s State of Play event was officially held yesterday. Which Square Enix takes a big role in this event. In this State of Play, they announced various interesting things regarding the future of the Final Fantasy franchise.
Starting from announcing the presence of a battle royale game adapted from Final Fantasy VII titled The First Soldier. This battle royale game is planned to be released this year also for Android and iOS devices. Furthermore, they also confirmed the latest Final Fantasy game for the platform.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade
Not only that, Square Enix has also officially announced the next-gen version of Final Fantasy VII Remake titled Intergrade for PlayStation 5. Along with this, they have also prepared a paid DLC containing the character Yuffie who is indeed one of the most awaited characters.
Along with this, they also turned out to be giving away Final Fantasy VII Remake on PlayStation Plus in March. Apart from that, is there any new information regarding Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2? Of course. Do not forget Square Enix also shared information about this latest project.
Tetsuya Nomura doesn’t work on sequel!
Through an interview with Famitsu, Tetsuya Nomura as Director of Final Fantasy VII Remake announced that Part 2 of the game will not be handled as before. Part 2 of Final Fantasy VII Remake itself will be handled by Naoki Hamaguchi, the co-director of the game.
Even so, Nomura said that he was still helping Hamaguchi as Creative Director. This will indirectly be Hamaguchi’s first debut as Game Director. Apart from that, there is no further information about the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2.
