The Best Hu Tao Builds Genshin Impact

Skills

Just like other characters, Hu Tao has several skills that players can use. Starting from Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst. Well, in build this time, you have to find out what kind of skill Hu Tao has.

Normal Attack: Secret Spear of Wansheng

Normal Attack Hu Tao launches 6 thrust attacks in a row. Meanwhile, his Charged Attack lunges forward and deals DMG to the enemy. While Plunging Attack gives DMG area when it lands.

By consuming his own HP, Hu Tao could attack the enemy and enter Papilo’s Paramita state. This skill has several effects as follows:

– Increase Hu Tao’s ATK based on Max HP. The additional ATK bonus cannot exceed 400% Hu Tao’s ATK.

– Converts DMG to Pyro DMG, this conversion cannot be overridden by other Elemental Fusion.

– Enemies hit by a Charged Attack will be affected by Blood Blossom.

– Increases Hu Tao’s resistance to interruptions.

When hitting an enemy, will recover a percentage of Hu Tao’s Max HP. This effect can be triggered by 5 different enemies. If Hu Tao’s HP is equal to or below 50%, then DMG and HP recovery increase.

Best Hu Tao Build

Weapon

This is a weapon signature Hu Tao’s. So, no wonder why it became the weapon used by Hu Tao in most build player. The reason is, this weapon increases 20% Max HP, and gives an ATK Bonus of 0.8% of the user’s Max HP.

When the user’s HP is less than 50%, the user will get an additional ATK Bonus of 1% of Max HP.

If you don’t have a Staff of Homa, Skyward Spine can be an option. The reason is, this weapon has Subs Stats Energy Recharge which makes Elemental Burst able to be used quickly. Other than that, passive of this weapon is to increase ATK Speed.

For 4-star weapons, I suggest you use Deathmatch. The reason is, this weapon is quite stable for Hu Tao considering the Subs Stas Crit Rate which can reach 33%.

If you don’t have Deathmatch, some weapons like Blackliff Pole, Lithic Spear, and Prototype Starglitter are options for you too.

Artifact

For artifacts, I have three scenarios you can use. But before that, you need to know the order of the artifact stats that you must have, namely HP% – Flat ATK – HP% – Pyro DMG Bonys – Crit Rate/DMG.

4 Sets of Crimson Wich of Flame

If you use 2 sets of these Artifacts, you can get a 15% Pyro DMG Bonus. This was one of the most suitable Artifacts for Hu Tao to use build this.

While 4 sets of these Artifacts increase Overload and Burning DMG by 40%. Other than that, elemental reaction such as Vaporize and Melt will increase by 15%. If you use Elemental Skills, there will be an increase to the previous 2 Sets to 50% for 10 seconds.

If you don’t have a good Crimson Witch of Flames artifact, Lavawalker can be an alternative. The reason is, 2 sets of these artifacts increase Pyro RES by 40%. Meanwhile, 4 sets increase 40% DMG against enemies hit by Pyro.
