TNC Pro Team Replaces Mineski at WESG 2016 APAC Qualifier

The DOTA 2 team from the Philippines TNC Pro Team will replace the Mineski team in the 2016 World Electronic Sports Games Asia-Pacific qualifier. Mineski was forced to miss the 2016 WESG qualifying round due to a clash with the ASUS ROG Masters tournament schedule.

The WESG 2016 APAC Qualifier will take place on November 10-13, while the schedule for the ASUS ROG Masters tournament itself will take place from November 12-13. Furthermore, Mineski also stated the reason for choosing the ASUS ROG Masters tournament because the WESG tournament format based on country made one of the players from Singapore, Galvin Kang “Meracle” Jian Wen unable to defend Mineski.

The following is a list of the participating teams for the WESG 2016 APAC Qualifier:

The competition of the WESG 2016 APAC Qualifier will be held at the Korea International Exhibition Center in Goyang, South Korea. The prize pool provided in this qualifying round is $75,000. The top five teams that qualify will advance to the final round of WESG 2016 which provides a total prize pool of $1.5 million.
