Tokyo Is Not A Horror Game But An Action-Adventure Game
Announced last year, GhostWire: Tokyo has immediately caught the attention of many gamers. Especially if you know that the game made by Tango Gameworks involved Shinji Mikami the creator of Resident Evil and Evil Within in its development.
Because it involves Shinji Mikami, many people think that this game is a survival-horror game. Even more so when knowing the actions of Shinji Mikami himself. But in fact this game is not a survival-horror genre game but an action-adventure game.
GhostWire Tokyo is an Action Adventure game!
This is known through Kenji Kimura’s interview with Game Informer. Kenji Kimura as game director of GhostWire Tokyo said that although this game is not a horror game, it is an action adventure game.
Even so, he promises the presence of scary and mysterious moments in this game later. Having a place setting in Japan, Tango as the developer hopes to be able to offer an exciting experience that is packed with gripping, mysterious, and scary elements.
This game will be based on folklore, fairy tales, urban legends, and scary stories that are famous in Japan. When asked about the differences between Evil Within and GhostWire: Tokyo, Kenji said that both games do offer a gripping atmosphere.
GhostWire Tokyo is releasing in 2021!
However, because GhostWire: Tokyo was developed as an action game, it will feel more exciting. Until now, information about GhostWire: Tokyo itself is still very limited. Apart from the release schedule for next year, there are no special details about this Ghostwire: Tokyo game from Tango Gameworks.
GhostWire: Tokyo itself is planned to be released first for the PlayStation 5 in early 2021. Meanwhile, the PC version is certain to follow after its release on the PS5 console. There is no confirmation that this game will also be released on Xbox Series X later.
Will this one game meet the expectations of the fans so far? Interesting for us to wait. What is your opinion about this? Give your feedback below.
