Turkey Replaces Australia in The World Championships 2016 Tournament

There was a lot of drama leading up to the 2016 CS:GO The World Championships tournament, this time for the Australian national team that failed to meet the requirements of the deadline set by the committee. E-Frag finally appointed Turkey to replace Australia.

The Australian team is known to have failed to register its line-up, they argued there was an internal problem within the team that made it fail to meet the deadline given. Turkey was appointed because this team showed a pretty decent game, they had beaten Belgium 2-0 in the de_Cobblestone (16:12) and de_Overpass (16:12) maps.

Australia is not the only country that failed to register its roster, the first being China which was replaced by Singapore and the next country was the United States which was eventually replaced by Canada.

Then the Kazakhstan team was disqualified after one of the players from the Gambit Gaming team Mikhail “Dosia” Stolyarov played the account of Evgeniy “zLex” Kim in the online qualifying round against France. In that match Kazakhstan won 3-2, however their win would be annulled and France declared the winner.
