Two Indian Teams Will Compete Online at PMCO Prelims

PUBG Mobile Club Open Prelims will start tomorrow, July 20, 2021. A total of 16 teams from around the world will compete for the last five slots towards the PMCO Global Final.

The match, which was held in Germany, unfortunately had to cost players from two teams from India due to their visa not being granted by the German government. The two teams are IND Team and Indian Tigers, runner up and third place of the Indian Regions Final qualifier. The non-fulfillment of their visas required the two teams to play in Nodwin Gaming’s Office against 14 other teams. The problem that will arise if they don’t play directly in Germany is that the quality of the ping between the two teams and the other 14 teams in Germany will be very different. Of course this will be very detrimental to both teams.

Not only the two teams who experienced problems related to visas that were not granted. Previously champion of the Indian regional qualifiers, Team Soul, also reportedly experienced the same thing. One of their players, Soul Motra revealed that his visa was refused even though he had attached an official invitation from PMCO. Luckily they were quick to reapply and get approved. But for IND Team and Indian Tigers could not apply for a visa again because the time was too tight.
