Yuhu! The Witcher Season 2 Reportedly Entering Production Stage – Get ready as the second season of The Witcher on Netflix is in the works.

The second season of the series The Witcher on Netflix will soon enter the production stage. It was previously reported that Netflix was delaying production of their series due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19.

Production The Witcher Season 2 has been postponed more than two months or about three months. The delay in the production process was due to one of the players, Kristofer Hivju, who played Nivellen in The Witcher, infected with Covid-19 on March 16. After a month of getting medical treatment, Hivju said that he had recovered from Covid. But by that time the UK had declared a lockdown and those who were not essential workers were advised to stay at home.

The Witcher Season 2 Starts Production

Reports of the start of this stage of production came from Deadline, which revealed that Arborfield Studios had begun filming. Arborfield director Bob Terry is reportedly back at work and will meet over the next two weeks to discuss safety procedures. Of course, the production process for this second season must implement security procedures such as remote technology, physical distancing, and others. Other countries around the world such as New Zealand, have allowed some film production in their country again.

Unfortunately, it is not clear whether later this second season will experience a delay in the broadcast schedule or not. But a report released recently said that the postponement of the witcher season 2 will not be delayed. If filming starts in late June or early July 2021, that means season 2 will be out in early 2021.

The Witcher is one of the most popular series on Netflix since its release, so a postponement of season 2 is unlikely. They claim that the second season will be much more popular.
