Kominfo Interested in Studying Time Limits for Playing PUBG and Other Games
Time limit for PUBG players in India
GridGames.ID – The Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) admits that it is interested in reviewing the restrictions on gaming hours PUBG Mobile like in India.
This restriction comes after the Indian government banned the PUBG Mobile game because it is addictive and makes players spend too much time playing PUBG, and raises other serious problems.
Tencent as developer PUBG Mobile then tested the PUBG time limit feature in India.
Each player is only allowed to play a maximum of 6 hours a day. If the time limit is exceeded, new players will be able to log in again the next day.

In response to this, the Director General of Aptika at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Samuel Pangerapan, said that the restrictions on playing time could be enforced. However, restrictions must be carried out simultaneously for all games, not just PUBG.
“Right now there is no plan (limiting the time to play the PUBG game). But it is also interesting to study it,” Samuel said when met at the Kominfo office quoted from Kompas.com.
“But there are many games, and the restrictions must be simultaneous, all must be,” added Samuel.
He also said that Kominfo itself actually has guidelines and age limits for video games. These limits include the ages of 3 years, 7 years, 13 years, and 18 years.
