Hurricane Comes to LifeAfter with “Hurricane Strike”

NetEase has released its latest update with hurricane and heavy rain for the game doomsday-survival their name, LifeAfter, is called Hurricane Strike.

In this latest update, the world of LifeAfter will be hit by storms and heavy rain on a scale never seen in a survival game. These are not just visual effects, but new game mechanics that will affect the character’s survivability.

Santopany and Nancy City will experience minor typhoons and rain. Storms will appear on the map randomly. In addition, a large storm will occasionally come past Santopany, sending players or Infected sucked into it flying into the sky and falling after time runs out.

The wind direction in Nancy City will also change randomly to surprise players and make their adventure more exciting. With the threat of a storm that can throw players that can come at any time, players will not feel as safe as before. Can they shelter from the storm by tying themselves to a tree or pickaxe which they have planted in the ground.

When a storm hits the player’s area, they must find shelter or hold onto another building. The longer the wind blows, the faster the player character will tire. But if players were able to balance the stamina bar properly, they could last long enough for the storm to pass. If the player fails to enter the shelter or save anchor point, they will be blown away by the storm and fall unconscious.

Apart from the dangers of the weather, players will get a few other things with this update. They were able to rescue refugees who had fallen in the water around Santopany and Nancy City. Players can also examine this new weather more closely.
