No longer a Nintendo Switch exclusive, Monster Hunter Rise is also confirmed to be released on PC

The enthusiasm of fans in waiting for the latest Monster Hunter Rise game seems to be getting more and more unstoppable. Ahead of the release of the game next month, Capcom unexpectedly brought the news that they would release this game on the PC platform. Yup, that’s right, the game, which was originally only planned for an exclusive release for the Nintendo Switch, is finally ready to move to other platforms.

This news comes from the latest media reports Fanbyte who recently held an interview with Producer – Ryozo Tsujimoto and Director Yasunori Ichinose. In the interview they confirmed that Monster Hunter Rise will be released on PC in 2022. They then added that the PC version is still in development, so fans will have to wait longer than the game’s release on Switch next month.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Capcom has brought the Monster Hunter series to PC. Previously they had also released Monster Hunter World for the platform. Despite serious technical and server issues at the time of its release, Monster Hunter World is now in its best version and can be played comfortably on PC.

As for Monster Hunter Rise, this is the latest game series in the franchise that carries a Japanese theme. Apart from the presence of cool new monsters, this game introduces a new, more responsive gameplay system with Wire Bug. This gadget allows the player to execute a series of new weapon combo techniques as well as use it as a flexible Grappling Hook tool.

When is the Game Released?

Monster Hunter Rise itself is scheduled to be released on Nintendo Switch on March 26. And like the information above, this game will also be released on PC in 2022 without a definite release schedule.
