The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki Shows First Trailer, Released September 2021!

Although his name is not as well-known as popular JRPG developers like Square Enix, Nihon Falcom is one of the most experienced in the industry. Thanks to the success of the JRPG The Legend of Heroes franchise which is increasingly being recognized by many gamers, now they are ready to open a new chapter through the series The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki (Trails of Black/Darkness). The latest Trails series that started the Calvard story arc is indeed the most ambitious series so far.

Following the sharing of new details over the past few months, today Falcom has finally officially released the first trailer for the game. The one-minute trailer shows many interesting footage, starting from the gameplay that is presented with better graphic quality, the world exploration side which now feels more massive, as well as the appearance of several key characters such as Zin, Walther, and even one of the Class VII members, Fie. Instead of being curious, you can immediately see the new trailer below:

The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki takes the story setting in the land of Calvard which has finally been freed from the war at Crossbell. In addition to the graphics quality which is much more polished with the new engine, the biggest change from The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki can certainly be seen from the gameplay system. If previously all Trails games only carried turn-based battle gameplay, in this game players will be presented with a real-time action system that is apparently still combined with elements of strategy.

Along with the release of the first trailer, Falcom also shared details of the sales bundle for the SPRIGGAN Edition which is set at 9,800 Yen or around IDR 1.2 million. This edition packaged in a special box offers extra exclusive content in the form of a Mini Soundtrack (with Steel Case), Material Book: “To The Land of Origin and Dawn”, Arkride Solution Office Character Data File, and bonus DLC content to replace the voice of the Xipha device which owned by the player.

The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki itself is scheduled to be released in Japan on September 30, while exclusive to PlayStation 4.
