Abed 'Abed' Yusop From Digital Chaos Team Becomes First Player To Reach 10K MMR!!
Finally, after waiting for a long time to break the 10,000 mark in MMR Dota 2, now it has happened!! The one who made it to the first 10K MMR in history was none other than Abed ‘Abed’ Yusop from Digital Chaos!!
Although this year the Digital Chaos team did not manage to achieve a good achievement like in the ZOTAC Cup Masters where they had to immediately lose to the Fnatic team and had to settle for being in 5-6th position. But that didn’t stop their midlaner Abed from moving forward and growing which made him the first player to reach the first 10K MMR in Dota 2 history.
Abed, who is still 16 years old, has been trusted as a midlaner in the Digital Chaos team and Abed is very famous for the Hero Queen of Pain, Ember Spirit, and of course the Hero that his opponents fear the most is Meepo.
The competition to penetrate 10K MMR is actually very tight. There are several competitors from Abed such as Zhang ‘Paparazi’ Chengjun from the iG.Vitality’s team who was the champion of the 2017 DAC Solo 1v1 Championship and had reached 9.8K first. However, because Amer ‘Miracle-‘ Al-Barkawi and Abed himself played on the Chinese server, Paparazi slowly experienced a decrease in MMR to the point of 9.5K. In addition, there are also players to consider such as Zheng ‘MidOne’ Yeik Nai from the Secret team and Miracle from the Liquid team.
But Abed’s toughest test is not maintaining the 10K MMR he has achieved. But he must be able to bring his team Digital Chaos to qualify for The International 7 through the elimination in the North America region. If not, surely many feel that Abed’s MMR is just a number.
Do you think Abed can bring Digital Chaos to The International 7?
