Always Existing, NieR: Automata Reaches 5.5 Million Coffee Sales Worldwide

Some of you must already know that NieR is now included in the ranks of Square Enix’s most successful JRPG franchise. His name used to be not very well known, but since the release of the latest series NieR: Automata in 2017, NieR suddenly brought in many new fans who were amazed by the quality. More than just a game that seems to rely on fanservice, NieR: Automata is an Action RPG that is solidly built from all aspects of its quality.

Even after entering a period of four years since it was officially released, this game has again achieved a new record that further strengthens its success. Along with the 4th Anniversary of the game on February 23 yesterday, the developer officially announced that NieR: Automata had successfully achieved sales of 5.5 million copies worldwide.

When compared to the announcement at Christmas Eve 2020, the game has managed to drive sales of over 500,000 copies in just a few months. This proves that the interest in NieR: Automata is still very high, where there are many gamers who are interested in seeing if this game is really as good as the general public says.

For those of you who are still unfamiliar with the game, NieR: Automata is an Action RPG which is also an indirect sequel to the original NieR series. This game tells the story of the struggle of mankind trying to take their glory from the invasion of the Robot nation to earth. As a form of resistance, they created a special forces organization called YoRHa, which consisted of tough Android troops. Through a story that wears glasses on the figure of 2B and his partner 9S, you will witness many unexpected events and mysteries from the war that YoRHa must face.
