Atelier Ryza 3 Depends Completely On Fan Support

Even though it has debuted more than two decades ago through the Atelier Marie series: The Alchemist of Salburg, the mainstay franchise of this developer Gust only achieved bombastic popularity through the release of Atelier Ryza. This Atelier game wrapped in charming graphics with a THICC super heroine figure is indeed difficult to ignore, even for gamers who are not familiar with the JRPG genre. Thanks to the great success of the first series, Gust has also developed and released a second sequel which could be continued again until Atelier Ryza 3.

This assumption finally got a response from Producer – Junzo Hosoi through his latest interview session with the media Siliconera. When asked about the possibility of a third game, Hosoi said that he was very interested and did not mind developing Atelier Ryza 3. But all decisions depend on how much interest and support the fans give.

Hosoi then said that if he could be involved in the Atelier Ryza 3 project, then he wanted to bring a big evolution to make the game better. No one knows about what kind of evolution he wants to realize, but it would be very interesting if the third game could bring a significant graphic overhaul or turn-based gameplay to an even more interesting Alchemy system.

For those of you who haven’t had time to try the game, Atelier Ryza is available in two titles, namely Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy. Both games focus on the story of Ryza and his friends who are trying to find a new destiny in a fantasy world full of mystery and adventure. More than just games that are rich in fanservice elements, the two Atelier Ryza series offer a storyline to a solid gameplay system and are suitable for JRPG lovers.
